Welcome to the Club 50 Fitness Center!

Open Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

$10.00 per month for WASI members

$30.00 per month for Non-members
 

Club 50 is our health campus for seniors who wish to exercise independently. Some equipment is adjustable to meet specific physical challenges, and the recumbent bicycle is fitted with removal seating to allow for wheel chair placement. Exercise videos are available for individual and group use.

Fitness center equipment includes an elliptical walker, treadmills, free weights, exercise ball, multi-purpose weight machine, small trampoline, hoola hoops, and games to increase hand-eye coordination.

Lockers, dressing room, and showers are available for member use.

Open Gym Equipment

Recumbent Elliptical by SciFit

The Recumbent Elliptical machine is used for a typical cardiovascular exercise routine and it can be used as a resistance training tool for the quads, gluts, and hips. The elliptical can be set at several different resistance levels.

Upright Elliptical by Precor

The Upright Elliptical machine can be used for cardiovascular or cross-training. It is great for strengthening the hips, quads, gluts, and calves.
Both the upright and recumbent elliptical have a series of resistance for your safety.

Multi-Use Treadmill by Quinton
Our multi-use treadmill provides 5 levels of incline and a selection of speeds for your endurance level safety.

Stationary Bike by Air Gometer
Our stationary bike is used for cardiovascular training as well as increased air intake.

Free Weights
Free weights ranging from 1 lb. to 55 lbs., resistance bands, wrist and leg weights from 1 lb. to 20 lbs.

Strong Seniors Program

The Strong Seniors exercise group meets in Club 50 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Our program is based on a national model designed by Tufts University to help improve muscle strength, balance and flexibility especially for mid-life and older adults. The cost is  $5.00 for an 8 week session
